On the way back to the airport the traffic on the freeway was slow enough to take decent photo's of downtown, except the haze downtown looked more like an industrial district and required severe photoshoping to get the buildings to stand out.<br><br>

The drive home was uneventful. Reason being - I slept most of the way. Carl, being a wonderful boyfriend (or perhaps just wanting a quiet drive - ha), was happy to let me snooze while he navigated the insanely pockmarked roads. We did see a double rainbow, which was nice. But I was happy to get home and rest some more after an eventful weekend. We'll be back in spring, though, to visit our friends again...and enjoy the warmer weather!
