The flight to Argentina has been delayed, but I'm looking forward to warm weather and adventures! Looks like we will be arriving in Buenos Aires around 9:45 tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will get enough sleep on the plane to hit the ground running!
When we arrived at our gate today we found it adorn with a giant model of the Golden Gate Bridge made out of balloons. There was food and drinks put out, all in an apparent celebration. We took our seats and waited for our flight to bored. Soon, the desk attendant announced that this was the inaugural flight of United flight 500 from IND to SFO. After we boarder we found a bag filled with gifts like a calendar, ...
... of tracking them down in between preaching sessions.
I think our disgruntled sentiment got back to the organizers. They sent a follow up/feedback email stating that next year, the hotel in Texas that's hosting the event will have a much better set up. I still think we should go as this event is attracting more and more young folks who are no doubt considering seminary/divinity school.
