Camped at Lick Creek - This campsite was easily the best campsite of the whole trip. Pristine pools of water flowed right by the campsite. We made camp with an hour of sunlight left. A campfire was made, and with it our spirits lifted.
We are at Susie's and will be staying here until next week and we have decided to go to Death Valley next week. We have never been there and the weather is pretty decent this time of year. We are learning to relax as we keep telling ourselves that we are in no hurry. Dad and I did go down to the ocean yesterday, it never seems to lose its beauty no matter how many times I've seen it. Our plans for today was just to go out for a good meal and shop. We accomplished both. We had steak and lobster at Outback, yum!
