Days Inn Grande Prairie

... high country. We will be staying one more night in Canada and then should be in Montana by day after tomorrow. We saw some beautiful elk and buffalo herds, but they were fenced in on ranches. Nothing else to write about. Only took pictures of wheat fields today. Sorry about the travelpod yesterday. I was having trouble uploading my pictures and then after sending, I noticed that I sent it twice. Oh well.

... first time in awhile that we've hit a name brand restaurant, especialy for lunch. It was in Fort St John, we had lunch buffet for $12.99, so tasty! I forgot how much I loved ribs.<br><br>Finally made it to Grande Prairie Alberta, so far all I've seen in Northern AB is hay fields and Canola fields. We ended our year long journey where we started - at the Cassity Farm in northern Alberta. We took our last night bus of the trip from Calgary to Grande Prairie, and I must say, I really liked the good old Greyhound.<br><br>Our short trip was filled with visiting family and eating ...

... because the cone of the plane had been hit and there was no maintenance ground crew in Grande Prairie. Long story short we changed aircraft and arrived in Grande Prairie about two hours later than scheduled - BUT SAFELY!! Wade from Kenry Electric met us at the Grande Prairie airport, we had supper together and then drove the two hours home to Peace River. WHAT A LONG DAY!! But we're home.

... and that&#8217;s the two-week limit, mind you, already critical at just one week. So I decide to go car camping. There seems to be a lot of state parks dotting the roadside from Grande Prairie on down, so I&#8217;ll take my time and groove on the scenery, exploring the little towns. The parks tend to run about $20 a night, so that&#8217;ll save significantly on hotel bills. Of course I feel a little ...

We just decided to return to Nicaragua for the first two weeks of March! Yahoo! Now we need to learn to use this travelogue so we can keep in touch with those at home while we are gone.
