Kate and Paul rode the flight simulator and we bought the picture, they spun upside down! Back to Union square for dinner and the the rooftop pool for a swim after dinner, looking over Washington. After our late night last night, we had a slow start this morning. Today we visited the international spy museum. It was very good and we spent several hours there (and Helen and Tom went back later to see more). The flight from San Francisco to Washington DC was fairly uneventful. The business class section of the United 737 we flew on, was only OK. The food was good, but the seats were tired. I am just about over flying at the moment. Just as well we have ...

His favorite president was George Washington. His statue reflects on the water way to the Washington monument. The Lincoln memorial was very beautiful and Lincoln was very ...

... it was a bit cloudy/foggy 550ft up the top so couldn't see too much but there were great photos of now vs early 1900's that were really interesting. Quite a bit of interesting info on the floor below also before the ride down, which stops/slows right down and the opaque lift doors turn clear so you can see all the State contributions to the inner walls - really good. Back on the bus, a short wait in the light rain, and off ...
