... Paul was at 3:47 PM. It was a one hour flight. We had a 2.5 hours layover.
We left MSP at 7:15 PM and landed in WDC around 10:20 PM. We got home a little after 11 PM. The taxi line was incredible but we got a taxi pretty quick. We played with Roger until midnight.

... birthday cake. the deliberation and voting began. A discussion ensued about Joel and Jim hosting for 2016 by Alan. Joel brought up the pros and cons of coming to Washington DC. Then, a one year/two years discussion started, too. Janell won the votes to host in 2016 and it will be either in the second or third week of August.
Everyone left Harold and Marlene's around 8:45 PM. End of Day Three of the Cousins Reunion.
... Harold and Marlene's house for lunch. We had pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, home made pickles, and brownies. We also played several games - tossing bean bags and washers. The outlaws won!
We also had dinner at Harold and Marlene. She made turkey, cranberry, baked potatoes, German bread, Amish pickled string bean, fruits, rhubarb pie, and apple pie.
The cousins reminisced about the past. It was interesting listening to their stories.
Another long travel day. We left Custer SD around 7:30 AM and headed to Wall Drug for breakfast. We got to Wall Drug around 9 AM. Much quicker than anticipated. We walked around a little after breakfast and then headed to Pierre to see the State Capitol. We drove through the Badlands and saw amazing hills, mountains, and flatlands. We got pictures of some rams and prairie dogs.

... of sunflowers all along the interstate but their heads were turned down because of the haze. Our nights stop was a small campground in Minnesota overlooking a lake. Such a pretty spot to stay for the night, especially after all the flat land, but I do miss the big sky.
Minnesota is a pretty state. Maybe our next excursion will be here in the north ...
