Well we finally arrived home today!! After 65 days we logged 9,217.7 miles, 201.2 hours driving. 7 states, Alaska and 6 in the lower 48, In Canada, 4 provinces and 1 territory. Wow what a journey, many unforgettable sights and new friends made!! But there's no place like home & family. ... Coast, Canada, Great Lakes and now down the Mississippi River. While we are very proud of the fact that we have navigated more than 50 locks, we felt somewhat inadequate when they told us they have locked through more than 3000 with their travels on the rivers of Europe!

Weather is killer right now. The next ten days will be nothing but 100+ degree days with medium to high humidity and NO CLOUDS OR RAIN. Today was pretty crazy. Brent and I are now on a time constraint to get to Springfield, MO before the 3rd to meet with Benny and Jess as they head back East from Colorado. We're going to be spending the 4th together.
