Well we finally arrived home today!! After 65 days we logged 9,217.7 miles, 201.2 hours driving. 7 states, Alaska and 6 in the lower 48, In Canada, 4 provinces and 1 territory. Wow what a journey, many unforgettable sights and new friends made!! But there's no place like home & family. ... 40 years because of their injuries. Other birds are outfitted with tail wings from deceased birds. Amazing that they super glue tail feathers on birds that have lost their feathers. Weather is killer right now. The next ten days will be nothing but 100+ degree days with medium to high humidity and NO CLOUDS OR RAIN. Today was pretty crazy. Brent and I are now on a time constraint to get to Springfield, MO before the 3rd to meet with Benny and Jess as they head back East from Colorado. We're going to be spending the 4th together.
