Well we finally arrived home today!! After 65 days we logged 9,217.7 miles, 201.2 hours driving. 7 states, Alaska and 6 in the lower 48, In Canada, 4 provinces and 1 territory. Wow what a journey, many unforgettable sights and new friends made!! But there's no place like home & family. children running with abandon and laughing. They discovered a large mat at
the end of a pole vault which became an instant favorite to jump around on.

There was a bit of a walk down the drive to the tent so John
and I both had to make sure we left early enough so we weren’t late for our
jobs. I’m so glad we’re parked on pavement because it’s supposed to rain pretty
badly today.

... Sybils was suggested for fine dining but the wait was too long. We headed next door to Country Bob's for down home cooking and at half the price. Missouri wines are terrible, but we go tasting anyway! the Norton grape grows well here which is used in most reds; and it is the worst. Weather is killer right now. The next ten days will be nothing but 100+ degree days with medium to high humidity and NO CLOUDS OR RAIN. Today was pretty crazy. Brent and I are now on a time constraint to get to Springfield, MO before the 3rd to meet with Benny and Jess as they head back East from Colorado. We're going to be spending the 4th together.
