Boarded the plane at 10:28pm on Tuesday. Had chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner on the plane at 11pm. Read a little and slept a little. Said the flight wasn't much longer than the one to Florida (which means she slept quite a bit!). Didn't eat the breakfast.

We left Emmett this morning in the rain but by the time we hit Flint it had stopped. We first came across a model boat race going on at Kelly Lake in Burton Town, outskirts of Flint. Detroit in a nutshell...

Don't believe border guards!

Detroit is A LOT safer than its rep (with caution).

Detroit is VERY interesting, yah got to see it and poke it to believe it.

Detroit is FUN!

Detroit will recover, not as grand, not as rich in a financial sense, but still rich.

We will gladly go back to Detroit, and experience new things.
