... via the back roads so we stay off the boring Interstate. But wait, before we do, let us take another look at those beautiful Antebellum homes in Twickenham that we saw when the Grand Parade went through on Saturday. That won't take long! Where the heck were they? Tell you what? Let's go by the Visitor Centre and quickly get us some information. By this time, quickly should not have been in our vocabulary! Today we decided to watch The Amazing Team Challenge which is when riders try their skills on a course that is set up. Well 'watching' turned out to be PARTICIPATING. Our friends and some others managed to persuade me to ride and glad I did too. What a blast. You had to ride the course without hitting the cones and in the quickest time possible. ... pipes, LED's, tyres, demo rides, chrome - all sorts of paraphernalia. So of course, you fill your wallet with money, or you clear your plastic and get it ready to run hot and wander around buying things you need but probably mostly, things you don't! Now comes the best part, if you want to have your purchases installed, you book it in with the vendor for an appointment time. 15 minutes before ...

... do you think we are? Suckers? Entertainment at dinner was quite spectacular. Tim Decker, speed painter and entertainer. A real comedy act but in four minutes on average, he could paint a picture on canvas of some famous icon and then he gave them away as a lucky door prize. Very much worth going to see. After the dinner, the light parade is staged. What a spectacle! Some bikes of course looking really gaudy and trashy but others have been done quite tastefully and look ...
