... So we had no correct information on the time or how fast (or slow...) we were driving. We could not recover this precious time and at the end we were over a minute late...
The second part of the section was not better. It was much easier than the first part and we should have cleared it. But again we accidently pressed a stopwatch at the wrong time and thus were "in the dark" and were also late... Big disapointment...

... speed of 35 mph along gravel tracks (reduced to this speed from 50 mph at the last minute as the organisers decided that 50 mph was unrealistic!!!). All seemed OK for the first few seconds of bumping down the gravel but then the dodgy trip just stopped counting so that really was the end of that stage for matching the distances and times along the road. We just guessed as we went along and somehow managed to be only 47 ...

... this boarder of nothing but bicolor. When I say swimming I mean it in ever way. My arms were doing freestyle, my hair was wet, I was spitting out water and I had water in my eyes. The one highlight was that I did hear one quail. Hardly worth the swim but it was still cool. That quail was the only one of the day. After our 2 hour drive home I was still soggy and ready to change.
Hopefully tomorrow will be dry!
