Today we slept in a little, packed up and left Crystal Isles RV resort. We stopped in downtown Crystal River for a little souvenir shopping and an early lunch. The only shops open were dive shops, but we found a few things. Lunch was at Crackers by the water. The food was good and it was nice to look out at Kings Bay. Today was the first time the wind has laid off the entire time ...

... Kayak Somewhere: You might make a fishy friend! Crystal River - Two Words; See Manatees. - Go to 3 Sisters Springs: The water is super clear and you might be able to swim with the manatees! ...

... get the alarm to stop beeping and this is with the windows open and a fan blowing in front of it. My advice, if you ever buy an RV, immediately remove the oven and install shelves to hold useful items like a toaster oven, hot plate, griddle, etc. Tomorrow we are renting a pontoon boat from the campground. I went and looked at it today. Nothing special but it should get us up river and into Kings Bay where the water is supposed to be clearer and manatees should be ...

... although they are quite hard to find in the rest of the lake because the water is less clear. Most of the time you will just see the nose coming out of the water for breathing. I was even lucky enough to take a picture of an eagle circling above a small island were we had taken a rest.
After the kayak tour we drove further south. I still hoped to see dolphins. In Tierra Verde you should see them at one of the jetties, so we made a stopover there. The bridge was full of ...
