      ... still see them clearly. Some were huge - as long as an adult but fatter than a cow with no legs. Dad had a special encounter with a sociable manatee who came up to his face and wanted a tickle. It felt like scratching a pig, with very thick and rough skin.       ... auf einmal entgegenkommen (inwieweit das die Seekühe schützen soll, sei mal dahingestellt). Die Seekühe jedenfalls nahmen die Menschenmassen wesentlich relaxter auf als wir.       ... of frogs. They were everywhere. Big frogs, little frogs, hopping frogs, and even geckos were hopping and crawling all over. Apparently after it rains, they’re everywhere. Evie loved every minute of it; she was snapping pictures of them. I, on the other hand, got back in the car and enjoyed my frog-free environment.
