    ... when you say thank you. They smile and say hello as you pass them in the street or on hiking paths. We met lots of people today looking at waterfalls and they were all lovely.
    There are a lot of churches in North Carolina. Every few miles there is another Church, sometimes 2 or 3 in the same block.     ... are unique to this town. The town is very proud of its squirrels, even having an annual White Squirrel festival every May. There are signs and pictures of white squirrels all over town. Stories vary somewhat as to where they originate from and how they came to be in Brevard, but it was our mission to see one and take photos.

    ... we have with them. This trip was a sacrifice of time and resources, but in my opinion the investment had a better return than I ever expected. We have had two weeks to experience new things, have hours of genuine conversations, laugh, and enjoy each other. As we woke up the boys to go into the house Cameron thanked us for a great trip. To have a 13 year old thank you for a trip at 2am in a sleep walk shows it was good for them as well. Until the next adventure...The Phillips ...
