A morning of another delicious hot breakfast followed by second coats on the paint jobs we started yesterday. We then were given Subway for lunch and since there wasn't much left to be done with the paint crew, I switched groups to help put up the wood siding on another house. I think siding has become my favorite construction project. It's such a team effort-measure, cut, position, nail. And, I got to use a nail gun for the first time today. I felt ...

Hello, friends! Another build day. Instead of painting we built walls and added insulation. But before I go into that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANTHONY!! Anthony is another builder on this trip. From Connecticut, he recently graduated with his MBA, and quite simply, he's fantastic. He's generous, big-and-kind hearted, embracing... I could go on and on and on about him. ... I felt like I was back in college racing the time trial event with my old teammates. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, as the "TTT" as we called it, was always my favorite event of collegiate racing. You feel a sense of camaraderie with those you're working with, it's such a selfless act when you're on the front, exerting way more energy for the benefit of your teammates following your wheel. That was today for me and it ...

... the Greyhound Coach journeys. Then thought maybe not. I then found a little wooden cable car, I thought perfect!

  • I walked to the end of the pier and admired the views of the ships docking in and wondering of what adventures they have been on or going on. I discovered this funny looking meal it was a big football bread with soup inside it, that is going on my list to eat. I asked a friend about this meal, she said it was called a Clam Chowder, yuk! I am not a fan of ...
