A morning of another delicious hot breakfast followed by second coats on the paint jobs we started yesterday. We then were given Subway for lunch and since there wasn't much left to be done with the paint crew, I switched groups to help put up the wood siding on another house. I think siding has become my favorite construction project. It's such a team effort-measure, cut, position, nail. And, I got to use a nail gun for the first time today. I felt ...
Hello, friends! Another build day. Instead of painting we built walls and added insulation. But before I go into that, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANTHONY!! Anthony is another builder on this trip. Well, I could continue to ramble on about this girl, but in fear of the compliments going straight to her big head (jk, she's also pretty humble on top of all the other things), I'll now get to our ...

First on the list was the Golden Gate Bridge. When I arrived at the bridge it was freezing and foggy. So many people have told me to do this walk as it will be a great experience. So I was excited and ready to do it, I started the walk and I couldn't see a thing, just fog. I suppose the cool thing about it was walking and looking up at how tall the bridge is then looking out into the ocean and seeing how far up you are. The other amazing thing ...
