Well, after 7 Travel Days, we made it to Florida! When we left Georgia, it was cloudy, 51 degrees, and off and on misty rain all the way to Daytona Beach when the Sun came out and it warmed up to 71 degrees. We checked in the Cocoa Days Inn. Today we actually do something touristy, gonna hit Orlando and visit Universal Studios Florida
Gazz loves rides and practically ran to the entrance once we parked up in the Spiderman parking lot.
We went to Merritt Island to see wild life (saw wild pigs, sea turtles, birds, fish, no gators so we went to a mini golf place in Coco and were able to feed them and see about 7 of them).
We went to Harry Potter for a day, Universal to eat with Mom's cousin Dottie Anne, swam on the beach, had the water park as part of the resort, mini golf, arcade, movie theatre, shuffle board, relaxing.
We have officially been gone one month! Our send off from Woods Hole seems like light years away, and I know we're all happy to say that we have just about reached our first real goal destination of Fort Lauderdale. We didn't really have an idea of how long this would take us, so it is great to feel like some significant progress has been made.
