... pockets of copper deposits scattered throughout the area: great for horseback riding, hiking, swimming and just kicking back.

Back in the old boring real world, I’m still recovering from the Pittsburgh Marathon but starting to train for the NYC Marathon. It’s been hot hot hot in the Burgh. Like loss of 6 pounds in 5 miles hot. Looking forward to the Brentwood 5K on July 4th!

Today, as we have done on the first day of many treks to Denver, we drove to Childress TX,a small town halfway between Houston and Texas. Yup we're back at the Cotton Gin RV park. It makes a nice place to stay for the night. Today was the most comfortable travel through Texas we've ever had at this time of year.
