Amigo Trails was once again was a great resource. Pedro picked us up and took us to the tiny bus station, Yolonda booked a hotel in Chihuahua and recommended some neat things for us to do when we went there and she also suggested that we use Volaris to book our flight to Mexico City. Made things pretty easy for us.

... the bus station filled with A4 posters of missing people! Albeit all were Mexican and mostly in their twenties, at least one of us could mistakenly fit that profile...

So we waited 4 hours in the bus station for the next bus south to Zacatecas. The few locals that we interacted with were exceptionally friendly.

Aside - Sorry, Laura, that means no cheesy pic of a chihuahua in Chihuahua! ...
