The Days Inn motels are a chain of motels and associated restaurants that are built on many of the sidings on the UK Motorways. They are just average accommodation but they give you an opportunity to break your journey and they are usually near a major town or small city.

Next we headed to Chester, which is in England.
We got 2 and a half hours to explore. The city has many old buildings and a beautiful cathedral which we snuck into for free. HA! Screw you institution!
Anyway, we also wandered along the walls around the city, but I didn't think they were as nice as the one in York.
