How did I manage to make it to adulthood?

A travel blog entry by michaelparsons on Nov 05, 2015

... accommodation voucher and driving reference in separate poly pockets, arranged chronologically in one slim, professional-looking file. All for nothing. Because I left it there. On the chair. Eighty miles away at this point. Nothing like a sudden drama to make you reconsider whether it's safe for you to travel halfway across the planet without a ...

Finally, a castle

More fortunate, we got to walk around in the ...

This was a source if annoyance to Helen as I was more squiffy than her last night. So sightseeing was out of the question as she didn't want to stray too far from the safety of the restroom. Foolishly both of us didn't eat much yesterday. So when we evidentially left the hotel I certainly had ...

The T9 Traws Cymru experience was a bit of a mixed bag. This service is advertised as an 'Express Coach'. Well the Express bit was indeed correct, but it ain't no Coach. Basically it's a bus with nicer seats. If you are lucky as I was, you can get a table too. Ok it's industrial looking, there are no coffee/can holder so your Stella etc. will go flying, but it is a table. But it cost me a crisp five pound note, so maybe I should be ...
