    ... to La Guardia airport. Since it was an international flight we had to check in 90 minutes before and when we got into very slow traffic and the driver started asking what time our flight would be we got very worried. Thankfully we made it in time and checked in no problem.

    ... princess in me was on high alert due to Simon not being with me and traveling on my own, maybe I was fair in my decision - I tend to think so. I checked in and checked out, walked up the street and stayed at Aloft. Aloft cost a little more and breakfast was not included, but it was fresh, happy, vibrant and had a professional air to it. Not to mention I felt safer there. Yes I am a princess, I like to feel comfortable.

    ... isn’t easy. Located in Calgary, Alberta, Heritage Park is Canada’s largest living history museum, with hundreds of exhibits, rides, shops, restaurants and daily demonstrations and activities to keep the young and the young-at-heart captivated in the past for a history lesson we couldn’t find in any textbook!

    Back to camp around 5PM we met for a social and travel meeting at 5:30 to get ready to move to Banff.
