It may come as no surprise that the day started more slowly than normal, with the excesses of New Years' Eve still evident as we all rose for the day. A brisk walk in sub-zero temperatures to The Publican restaurant got the blood pumping in readiness for brunch. Sorry this is a bit late! Yesterday we woke up in the train at about 7am. Thankfully the screaming kid behind us slept almost through the night but there was a snorer in front of us!!
