    ... it more but want to get up into the northern lakes area. Earlier in the morning, after returning to cell service away from badlands, while Sraddha is driving I look in the Atlas to find the nights camp. I spot a state park, one of our favorite venues, a few miles north of Sioux Falls. I get on the internet to check availability.

    Some parks won't show you anything that day but this one did which showed two sites. I ...

    En rigtig dasedag med god bog omringet af egern. De er store og brune med busket hale. Bilen er tjekket og klar til at køre til storstaden i Minnesota.

    Grete og Svend Petersen bor i Bloomington, som er i Minneapolis sydlige del.

    ... highway towards De Smet, the site of the Little Town on the Prairie. There are a lot more trees than I imagined but I expect that is because the first settlers planted them just like Pa did in the books. Gas is getting cheaper. We just say it for 3.39 a gallon. Actually all the gas has been cheaper than it is in Grand Rapids. ...

    Wasn't expecting Chinese food or a waterslide

    ... and we had a pretty decent Chinese meal considering we are in South Dakota. My fortune said I will be taking a chance in the near future. I am not sure I like that. From Sioux Falls we drove to Brookings for our hotel. I took the girls down to the pool for a swim only to find that the pool had a waterslide also. Sarah thought that was very cool. She must have did the slide about 12 times. Now everyone is settling down for the night.
