... places to first set foot in NYC. Well, it sure is busy, colourful, loud and intense. So far where ever we've gone to see the major sites they've been under construction eg. Las Vegas strip. The same can be said for Times Square. The whole centre area of it is currently being ripped up and re-laid. So it does change what I imagine would be an amazing sight, and therefore push everyone into the crammed pathways ...
Sunday, Jon's parents joined us for brunch and we shared travel stories and good food. Once they left, we ventured to Lucky Seven's, a dive bar, to watch the Chicago Bears. This particular bar is a favorite of Jon's and many of their friends were there. It was a new experience for us, but fun. We would head to Atlanta in the morning so we bid good night and good bye.
The trip was almost over and we had really enjoyed ourselves.
