Heading West again
... park has extensive grounds, the campsites are located in 3 separate areas, and has several amenities including and nice pool and miniature golf course. The park has 100s of deer who wander around the campsites and people watch. We are now in the process of deciding whether to stay here another day, or move on to San Antonio. Let's see - Sunday crowds, or Monday fewer people. Decision is still out..............

Inside the pie place, that also sold other Texas cafe delights, it was nice and cool and covered wall and ceiling with memorabilia. We ordered a sampler plate, which was 4 pieces of pie with Amy's ice cream.
The ice cream was a must and you actually got charged extra if you didn't have it as "it's wrong not to have it with 'Amy's ice cream.' "

Attack of the Sugar Ants!
... ants for almost 2 hours. By the time we got that done it was too late to try and catch the cruise. Not to mention we were super hot, sweaty and sticky. We decided that it would just be best to get a few miles worth of driving in today, and unfortunately not go back into New Orleans.
