Checking in was rather unusual. There was a luggage scan at the entrance. Heading toward international departures--without a ticket--there was a further scan. Not long thereafter there was a third scan.

... is getting dimmer and dimmer so we head back toward the shops. I ask Jim to get me a bottle of water to rinse my feet because I hate the feeling of sand on them. He suggests ice cream and heads over to get both. With the disappearance of the last shard of light we get back into the car and head back to Hamilton. Once again it is the unexpected detour that ties the day together into one big happy memory.

Park 'n Fly was there waiting, a first for me. A bit of drizzle but home a bit before 1600.
One song I really like is the Tom Jones' version of Green Green Grass of Home. It speaks to family. I love to travel. It was great to give Mom a kiss, shake hands with Dad and hold little Tabu. Until the next time my passport whisks me away, I was home.
