We got all prettied up and went to Mass at St. James church, and even though we showed up late, it was the most welcoming Mass I've ever seen. It was name tag Sunday, so everyone could figure out each other's names which was good because we met a lot of people and got to learn more about ...

... Reid/Alberti gang was waiting for us, cheering louder than ever. I wished Owen well for his second and final lap. And I ran over the finish line. What a feeling! Wow. Yes, I actually fist pumped, which prompted another small cheer from the finish line spectators. I couldn't stop smiling, and I was pooped. Ecstatic. Exhausted. Elated.  Upon request from our official cameraman, Bill Reid, I crowned myself with my gigantic medal. I felt proud and accomplished.  ...
