... list goes on.... and then, wow, the sweet table which must have been about 10 metres long, and full of cake stands full of hand made chocolates, marshmallows, truffles, and on the table crushed biscuits made to look like sand, with more chocolate treats half buried in there. ... so im convinced it's coz I was the token white girl (really white girl) I am getting far too paranoid coz we do get a lot of stares and photos taken on the sly! We got the subway home as we got a taxi to the square and got conned majorly.., we knew we did coz they were repeating how much we paid and laughing.. Quids in!! Has anyone seen that video clip of people being pushed into the subway in china? I thought it was a joke but me and Leigh missed 3 subways ...

Beijing - Everything on a grand scale
... the sardine express, but I never saw any litter, graffiti and the entire transit area was vey clean. But again there may be another reason for this - the presence of security. Everywhere there are cops, army and CCTVs. Probably why there's such a low crime rate as well. I don't feel for my personal safety, put it that way.

ESSENTIAL CHINA: The Chinese Slap
... but not for Chinese tourists. Was a little strange for us having groups of people walking by staring, taking photos and filming us. There was also the people that came up and made themselves part of our group.
So Tiananmen Square is massive! In total the size of 60 footballs fields and is in the center of Beijing.
