... filter coffee. The waitress would fill the mug up as soon as she could after every few mouthfuls.

We sat at the counter in the diner, which was laminate all the way, and the decor was pretty much as it would've been when established somewhere in the late 60's early 70's…that really wasn't the point though, the pancakes were fantastic and would see us through to dinner time!

... while Jesse and Lin headed into town for some secret shopping. They bought us some Vermont momentos which was really lovely. ... and is a very pretty city. It has a large university and was where Lin studied. We stopped for lunch at one of Jesse's favourite spots - Al's Diner (quite appropriate really).
