arrrived in Bangor at 335pm after leaving Prescott Valley at 100am so are very tired had a connection in Detroit, we went for a early supper at a texas road house and will travel to Bar harbor for a 3 night stay. Plan to tour acadia national park tommorrow, so will retire for the night as it was a very long day
You know that cold sweat that builds up when you are completely tense and expecting things to go bad any second? As the countdown to my right started, I had already been white knuckling the steering wheel and sweating away for about 45 minutes. Beyond that 45 minute mark, the countdown continued along the lines of:
1 hr 34 minute walk
1 hr 12 minute walk
... very glad when we finished the walk. I'm beginning to get really tired of Google. We use the route option that avoids highways. Google takes this to the extreme. It routes us off of perfectly good two lane roads and runs us out of the way from one small road to another. In towns it always takes us the long way on back streets when the main streets would be much more direct. I wish they had ...
... Wild or not, it's worth a trip back for a second helping! We head to Quebec and Montreal Sunday and will be there through Tuesday.
