Things improved immensely, weather wise, once we got settled in at Lisa and Rich's. The weather has been in the mid-thirties to lower forties and the rain has dissipated. That's always good news. I really wanted to title this episode "Hell, On Ice", but hell, purportedly, is hot. This trip, was not. We left Helena on the twenty with weather forecasts and road conditions "all over the map," quite literally. In winter, in the northern climes, one NEVER really knows.

... however due to the recent rain (muddy) and the blackberry brambles, were also a bust. We did get in a good hour's walk, however.

Lisa called and was able to get the afternoon off due to her computer training class being a surprising half day in length. She and Lynn are gone now to try yet again to get enough berries for a pie, at least. I took the opportunity to catch some shut eye and write to all of you.
