      ... ie..batten down the hatches!! There was a lull until about midnight - then I proceeded through the night - in what best described as going through a continuous car wash!!...boy did it rain. I kept checking the outside ground to make sure there wasn't some creek rising up to get me!! Still rain this am...but warm again. Enough weather!!...boring-- but we do like to talk about it!!!       Year 2, Day 127 - Today we drove the backroads from Tifton where our campground was and we sort of stumbled across the "capture site" of Jefferson Davis (and his party as they fled Richmond). This museum (built in 1939) is run by the county and is a bit remote, but it has a great amount of memorabilia to be viewed and it was quite nice.       ... when we got to the top of the first climb!!! We made the very wise choice of buying a platinum flash pass, which meant we could reserve our ride times and skip the queue, and also stay on the coasters for two consecutive rides- definitely worth it!!!       ... Most campgrounds have a check-in time after noon. Well since we are older, that took care of about 10 minutes and we also needed gas, that took about 20 minutes. The gassing up took so long because when we pulled in there wasn't a place for us to go and be able to get out easily.
