      ... the winding, stumpy channel.Our GPS was going crazy due to false readings generated by the water vegetation. At one point, we hit bottom due to the shallow water this time of the year. You can bet Capt. Bart had white knuckles and a few choice words to say, especially when we churned up mud at the harbor.       ... them a bit. I see jackets in some of the pics so it might be on the cool side. You can tell that the water is cleaner and calmer here....hope that trend continues. The winds have not been in their favor so all of today was motoring.

      ... he has been camping on the river for 8 days and was going to go into town to a motel for the night. We were going to use the marina courtesy car to restock groceries and volunteered to drop him off. We had some steak left over and had him on board for a treat.
