It took a bit of time but we finally got settled in. With electric hooked up, slides out, candles lit, pillows fluffed, cocktail in one hand, dog leash in the other we headed out for a walk. This was my son's 11th birthday present - to go camping for the first time. We headed toward Manchester, not sure if we would wind up at Old Stone Fort State Park or Tims Ford State Park. It was a last minute decision which proved to be a good one. The park wasn't crowded, it was shaded nicely, there were showers, it was only $18 a night for the two of us...it was just a nice area. We set up our tent Friday night, but didn't go hiking yet. We ...
