    ... for 23 years -- the last 7 to the same park model in Yuma. Before that they were in other places in Yuma and before that they were in Apache Junction. Denis and I think Yuma does make a good winter place but the park we stayed in again this time, Arizona Sands, doesn't have much in the way of amenities-- nice washrooms and laundry and the dike to walk on and buzzards to watch-- but that is about it and not near much to walk to.     ... Don't get me wrong, I love Zoos, but we had been told that this one was unique and world class. It was a zoo. I think we have been blown away so much on this holiday starting with Alcatraz then Monterey Aquarium and Universal, that we were expecting to be amazed here. Erm, it was just a zoo.     ... room was kinda crazy- the shower had no door. The sink was the desk. The room was called "the Stanza Vista" in case you're curious.

    However, if you want food, you must head out onto the clubby streets. We did however, find a not so clubby gastropub called the Hopping Pig. Honestly, I was kinda afraid of the place because in the Marina there's a bar called "The tipsy Pig" that also identifies itself as a gastropub. It ...
