      ... for 23 years -- the last 7 to the same park model in Yuma. Before that they were in other places in Yuma and before that they were in Apache Junction. Denis and I think Yuma does make a good winter place but the park we stayed in again this time, Arizona Sands, doesn't have much in the way of amenities-- nice washrooms and laundry and the dike to walk on and buzzards to watch-- but that is about it and not near much to walk to.       Early start and pastries for breakfast 2 of us and an extra lay in for the other (guess who). Still managed to check out of the Motel and get to the zoo for just after 9am.       A beautiful day was just what we ordered and received for our trip to the World famous San Diego Zoo. We hopped on the hotel shuttle and arrived quickly at the zoo. We began with the 35 minute informative bus tour and then using the Skyfari and the handicap pick up van, traversed much of this huge facility with its 3,700 animals.
