... so at that time I just thought it was kinda funny to meet hikers in the bathroom of a KOA, but as the morning began to pass and I saw them packing up there camp at the other end of the field I started to think differently. In a way it just seemed as if I was meant to catch a ride with them. I realized that a few days break from walking wouldn't be the worst thing. The stars had aligned and I decided to take the opportunity. ...
... trip took us through Balboa Park which is the largest urban park in the US, bigger even than Central Park in New York. In its grounds is the San Diego Zoo, gardens, museums and theatres and several grand buildings that were built as part of an exhibition held in San Diego in 1915. This weekend has turned even hotter and out here away from the ocean where they live is about 10 degrees hotter than San ...
Most of the time from then until today has been spent by the pool, running errands, at the gym or chilling out with Olivia. This evening we went to a restaurant in Oceanside called The Lighthouse for a sunset dinner with Olivia's neighbours/best friend and mother. Stunning views from within a marina and delicious seafood made for a great evening! It is now 11pm and I should probably get started on photos and what not!
