Days Inn And Suites Little Rock

I left OKC with sun and cloud and 44 F. But as miles of farmfields and trees passed, the clouds thickened up and I wondered when the thermometer would hit 50. ... Oh, and this blog was recently featured on TravelPod's main page! I've almost doubled the total number of hits I've had in this month alone, and we're only halfway through it. Thanks to TravelPod for that, and thanks to all you people who are reading this because of that. Sorry they waited until I was back home, but I'll eventually use this blog on more travels, so if you liked my writing, check back every once in a while.

... after Little Rock we had a long 5 hour drive to Oklahoma City. We arrived around nine oclock and the girls jumped into the pool. Small things please us a great deal on this trip and room with a fridge and microwave make us very happy it means we can keep milk cold and warm it up very quickly in the morning. Ok so in Oklahoma I went to sleep, and Debbie went into the bar to sing a little Kareoke. We woke up the next morning ...

Ok..so after a unfound 126 Exit and many phone calls, all of our group (with exception of Whimpy's car...we temporarily lost her but she is stoped a few exits away!) stopped at a Wendy's for lunch. The trip has been pretty uneventful so far. Thnakfully no break downs or any big problems. We are almost done eating and then will head back on the road we are a little over a thrid of the way there!! And trust me all of the girls are sooooooo excited, and the coaches are pumped ...

... to stretch our legs again. After Mississippi, we<br>came into Memphis, Tennessee. We were only in TN a short time. As we<br>crossed a big bridge over the Mississippi River, we went into Arkansas<br>(the state line actually is in the middle of the river!) We got to<br>visit the "Welcome to Arkansas" welcome center (thanks to David<br>Andrew's bladder). We got a late start and the rain set us back - but<br>we were determined to make it ...

... and Clyde,Al Capone Etc.Saw the gowns of the first lady of the politicians of Arkansas.<br>Drove to the capitol of Little Rock and saw the statues about civil rights.<br>Drove home to our hotel .Big help the car's GPS.<br>Had dinner at Waffle;s House near the hotel.It is a chain restaurants all over the south.Had waffles and pecan pie.<br><br>

... roof after the march.<br>Lunch at McDonald.s for lunch.<br>Drove toward Little Rock.Stop at an Arkanasas TIC and obtain maps,info and hotel coupons.<br>Stayed at the Comfort Inn Airport.Little Rock. and use the discount coupon.<br>Had a pizza dinner at Boston Restaurant.Our waitress is a lonely Filipino American.<br>

Katie and I found the Greyhound terminal, went in, and fell asleep until the morning. She was gone when I woke up. I knew I was hitch-hiking from that point on.

Ok the plan is to be at the airport by 7:15 am for the first flight of the day. Little Rock to Dallas AA #3534. We'll hang out in Dallas until our 12:05 departure on AA61 Dallas to Tokyo. It will be the 7th of July when we arrive in Tokyo at approximately 3:15 pm. We're there until 6:10 pm then it's off to Beijing for an 8:55 pm arrival time. I think the plan is to check into our hotel, Beijing Jianguo, and then maybe a walking tour to stretch our legs.
