... bus and a quick Maccas stop was the only option which seemed to suit a few of us. The trip back was through Beverly Hills and up Rodeo Drive with a quick look at some of the priciest stores all in one place. It was beautifully lit up and there wasn't a blade of grass out of place. Quite a contrast to Hollywood. The bus trip home saw a few catching up on a quick nap before a well needed sleep after another full day. The world's happiest place ...

... we took the full walk along the beach to Santa Monica, about 2.5 miles. When we arrived it was clear this was a much more built up and attractive area. Full of shops and restaurants as well as a big pier with plenty of attractions on too. We had a walk around then took the stroll back along the beach and had a rest where it appeared that there was a music video or dance sequence for tv being filmed on the beach, so we lay and watched that for a bit ...

... in search of something to eat, which I found, but I was enjoying the sights so I continued walking, not caring about where I was going because I knew there were plenty of cabs to get me back to the hotel if I happened to get lost. I walked a good six miles or so before stumbling on the Hollywood walk of fame. Hmmm, this was pretty cool. I took a few pics and headed back to the room for the night. It was an eventful day after all.

      Until next time.
