Today we spent the day travelling from Canada to America. We spent the first part of our drive watching Love Actually while we were travelling through Canada and when we crossed the border and made our way into America, we went through Buffalo in New York State and Pennsylvania. As we crossed the boarder we had Born in the USA playing loudly in the coach as well as other 'American' songs to welcome us back into the country. ...
... EZ tied down, Terry arrived. He and Jan were kindly our hosts for the stay. We took the opportunity to inspect his EZ in his pristine hangar – of which we're not allowed to be envious! Olmsted Falls is about 35 mins from the airfield and a delightful suburb of the city. On the way, we made a pit-stop at a local diner for lunch. ... Mike - together you make a great team and a great business!
And, by chance, I came across the Ford Cleveland plant where all the wonderful 351 & 302 Clevelands were made for those few years back in the early '70s - I felt nostalgic for my old 1975 302C powered Ford Fairlane and my 1982 351C powered Ford Bronco. I had a lot of fun in those cars and rarely did I not smile when I drove them!!
Merry Christmas everyone - I hope that Santa is kind to you all!
