We headed back to Buenos Aires in the afternoon, stopping in a Gaucho town to visit a shop selling traditional gaucho things. Then we travelled to Delores, the next town and stopped for lunch at a roadside restauran. There they are cooking meat outside by an open fire. We tried ‘Chiripan’, fresh chorizo in bread.

... went for lunch at 5pm, to a seafood restaurant and again had too much food! We almost finished it!
On the way home we saw someone in their car at the traffic lights, drinking mate. Graciela told us it’s illegal to drink mate when driving, this is because it’s distracting.
We ended up falling sleeping on the road back to Villa Gesell while Graciela and Jose Luis had some interesting conversations at the front of the pickup ...
On Quads
... were full of people. There were large audiences watching street performers do their act, and we noticed people are much more keen to give money afterwards than they do in London.
After all the carne from yesterday we headed to the best seafood restaurant in town. We ordered picada de marisco. This is a seafood taster with lots of different dishes served in separate small bowls or plates. Although it was really nice we were unable to finish it ...

The long and lonely road
Waking up early to find an ATM and finally buying Kevins new hiking shoes proved to be more difficult and time consuming activity than expected. But given that Kristin had allowed an extra 2 hours for Kevinīs "slowing" pace, we were able to catch the 5 hour bus ride on time to make it to our next destination, Villa Gesell.
