... century, these papayas writings are the earliest record of biblical prophets Abraham, Moses & Noah. All of them are common to each religion. The teachings of these prophets are found in the Judaism (Old Testament) bible, Christian (New Testament) scriptures, and the Islamic Qur’an. Although not overly religious, we found the exhibit to be fanatically biased towards the Jewish beliefs of being ...

And so it begins...

This is the first journal entry in my travel journal, and therefore it is also, so to speak, my first blog, so that's what I have made it. 1/16/09 (I think...) ~9 AM HK time (Wow. Just wow.) Trying to think where to start, even though I thought I had so little to tell, a myriad of emotions and impressions has well up. I will write the ones which most press at my pen. First: Arigato gozaimas guy. He is in seat ...

Returning Home

... family and the bright sun with the clear skies above me. The contrast of climate between the two cities is unnerving. When I was landing in Toronto I didn't even recognize the city. It is all white. The last image I had was still fairly bright and colourful, now its white, dull and gloomy. Anyway, I'm jet lagging right now so my hours are a bit off. I just wanted to thank those of you who followed along with my travels. I know that when I ...

... direct course because the halfway point is 420 miles, so they adhere to the rule. Aviation Science lesson over. At this time we're experiencing a LOT of turbulence. We seem to be above all the clouds, so I hope it's a temporary thing. It concerns me though, as it may lead me to spill my champagne on the keyboard and cut my post short. Oh well, the crosses I have to bear, right? The pictures here are of the seats in the Upper Deck of a 747, the single one being mine. (Exciting, right?)

Leaving Toronto for Paris

Today was basically a clear warm day. Elan and James allowed me to leave my car at there house after I got back from receiving my Travel Visa at the Russian Consulate downtown Toronto. The process involved with obtaining your travel visa to Russia is quite complicated and not very interesting so I will leave that out ...

Loooong day con't....

... frankly - he looked a bit terrified that we might continue to babble on, and briskly stamped our immi cards and off we went! My dad, Roger (aka Rog) and his wife, Reina, were there to greet us and we quickly hopped in the car, hip flasks in tow, on our way to the booming Metropolis of Sudbury - 3.5 hour drive!
