... we went to buy something (can't say what) and we were quoted at 200RMB.
We thought it was too much so we went away but decided that we would pay it so we came back and asked for the price again.
"But you just said 200..."
"No. 300. 270 lowest."
So we left and thought that was the end of it.
Then we saw our Chinese friends walking.
I called them over and sent them in on a covert mission ...

We saw her bedroom first. The Nannies (about 12 in all) were just getting the kids up from their nap and they were all so excited to see Mei Mei. ... visited here the Hall of Shen's residence, a Qing style complex. It was a good day in all and Peter then took us back to the coach and we were on our way to Shanghai finally! On the drive there we got stopped by the police because we were foreign and the papers all checked I guess to make sure we hadn't come in illegally, yeah as if. Gotta love Communism!
