... whole time I was in China people differentiated between me and Kirsty by calling me Kirby instead of Kirsty (As when they thought we both called Kirsty, they thought we were sisters!) – So I said to Bruce ‘No, I’m Kirby’ but he insisted it was me that Ping wanted to talk to. It was the most uncomfortable phone conversation I have ever had and you all know how I’m not a phone person anyway and that I’d much rather text! Ping was ...

... randomly flagging down a taxi that
already had a passenger in. He had a loud, pushy conversation with the taxi
driver, handed over cash and told us to get in the taxi and that it would take
us back to the hotel and to be ready for a 7.30am pick up in the morning. All
very bizarre and I guess we just had to trust him, luckily we did get back to

... far worse than reality! The little girl, who was only around 12 years old, showed us how to order and helped us pay, she even went to collect our food and bring it to our table. We asked her if she would like to join us for food but she said she had to be back home in a little while, it was getting dark so we assumed she had to be home by the time it got dark. We ordered pretty much the same food as we had last night with Bruce plus some vegetable fried ...

... and walked into departures and saw Bruce and Lily (his wife, who we originally thought was called Monica) waving at us.

I instantly loved Bruce, he was so happy and confident and although some others had told us that his English wasn’t great I personally think it’s incredible. So after Lily and Bruce argued about where the car was and walked us around in circles for a while we finally got on our way to Huai’An City which Bruce said was about a ...

Here are the long-awaited pictures of my Chinese wedding.

Thank you to Joy, Kristie, and Stephanie for their efforts in taking these pictures during my big moment.

So many of you told me to go away and find a bride in China.

None of you thought I would actually do it ;)

      Enjoy the photos!

BTW this was our wedding song, obviously.
