... we went to buy something (can't say what) and we were quoted at 200RMB.

We thought it was too much so we went away but decided that we would pay it so we came back and asked for the price again.

    "300RMB"

    "But you just said 200..."

    "No. 300. 270 lowest."

    "Uh...no"

Here are the long-awaited pictures of my Chinese wedding.

Thank you to Joy, Kristie, and Stephanie for their efforts in taking these pictures during my big moment.

So many of you told me to go away and find a bride in China.

    Enjoy the photos!

BTW this was our wedding song, obviously.

But I feel that people don't read my blog to hear my whining, I write them to ...

... fed her really fast. The Nannies said it was because I hadn't dressed her warm enough, which stung a little but Michael argued for me. Then we went to visit the rest of the orphanage. We saw her bedroom first. The Nannies (about 12 in all) were just getting the kids up from their nap and they were all so excited to see Mei Mei. In her room their were mostly special needs kids since I guess she was considered special needs ...

... visited here the Hall of Shen's residence, a Qing style complex. It was a good day in all and Peter then took us back to the coach and we were on our way to Shanghai finally! On the drive there we got stopped by the police because we were foreign and the papers all checked I guess to make sure we hadn't come in illegally, yeah as if. Gotta love Communism! The drive wasn't very long which was good and on the way Peter kept telling us how good our new hotel was. He ...
