After breakfast we left for the airport at 0830 for our 1110 flight to Xi'an. On arrival to the ancient Sichuan city, we met our local tour guide, Ann. Our luggage was whisked away to the hotel whilst we were taken on our city tour. First stop was the ancient City Wall, built in around 582 AD and stretches around a perimeter of 13.7km, it's China's …

Decoration and texture, cat tribe dynamics, the pathways lined with blooming flowers. Everything - animals, kids, plants, foreigners, all living together behind the massive school doorway, with bells marking out the rhythms of the daily ...

Today we toured the beautiful ( and empty ) tai chi park and museum. It seems to have been designed with bus loads of tourists in mind, but we have only seen a few scattered souls. Nice to have it to ourselves, and the afternoon off from training to mark the half way point. Afterwards, Master Chen's son who leads the 8 ...
