    ... the to just outside Sarnia for yet more pickups. No traffic crossing over to Port Huron, had to get off the bus with everyone else and go through customs. Not to painful at all. Corned beef on rye for dinner at the Mediterranean Grill and it was yucky. Board the plane for the flight to Paris at 8:40 pm and depart at 9:35. Well, all for now, possibly another edition upon arrival in Paris. ...

    Monday morning we left the cottage and headed south to Toronto and then across the border into Michigan. The border crossing was an hour-long affair, sitting high on the bridge that spans the water connecting Lake Erie and Lake Huron. The drive to Detroit was through many small towns and for the most part visually uninteresting. And we landed in Troy around 5 PM in time for happy hour at the Drury Hotel.

    It's almost 10pm and finally, the plane is almost about to take off. For the first time ever, we are on a flight that is almost empty! I would say about 30% full or less. Feel sorry for those suckers who paid extra for Economy Comfort. We are seated in the middle section where there are 3 seats across.
