    ... BC plates on the car! We Skyped brother Geoff tonight. Was good to catch up with all the family news, but also to find out he is progressing after his car hit accident!
    We had a BBQ here tonight with Paul, the girls, Margaret & Ted. Ribs & salads, followed by cake. Ribs & wings are an institution over here, but It's the first time I've ever had ribs. Never even did them when we were here... Can see why Canadians love them tho', they were ...

    ... So I managed to kill the time I had left to chillax in the lounge and pontificate about the great lil trip I had.

    Things I learned whilst here:

    Former Prime Minister Bob Hawkes set a world record for downing 2.5 pints of beer in 11 seconds...obviously a laid back country.

    There are more sheep here than people...something like 75 million of em.. and I believe it I saw a lot of em

    There are more Kangaroos than people ...

    ... I went on a long weekend trip to Drumheller with a childhood friend of mine Alan Firt. The highlight of that trip was sitting at a picnic table in my rain-suit, in the driving rain, drinking off sale draft beer out of a plastic jug. I do not remember where I slept on that trip, but I do know it created a lifelong dislike of rain-suits!
