The stops for these last few nights was determined by the availability of Category 1 & 2 Hampton Inns. Tonight, Clarksvilke, AR, which is where we spent the first night of our trip. We had a relatively short drive today, only about 4 hours, but it was a straight shot down the interstate so it felt like a lot longer. After ...

We averaged like 15 miles an hour, which is pretty good after already riding 80 miles in the Arkansas summer heat. -Kim and I beat or century personal record time by 2.5 hours. -Kim is one of my favorite people on this trip. -Dinner provided by the hosts -Best shower I've had on the trip so far. -Affordable Housing Presentation from Syrena and ...

... came to the rescue and quickly applied my Epi pen, and MSJ got me over to the hospital just to make sure things were okay once the Epi wore off. After a steroid shot, I was free to go and feeling much better! Today was a gentle reminder that I cannot have a laissez faire attitude when it comes to my allergies. I haven't had to use an Epi pen in 5 years, so this time kind of took me by surprise. Thankful for my wonderfully supportive and caring teammates ...
