Met Jim and Sue at meeting place shortly after 9:00am this morning. We're doing the first leg of our journey with them! Nice to have some travel buddies :) We left London at 9:30 am. Good weather - Clear and sunny all the way. Stopped in Toledo Ohio to purchase a hot spot. After much running around, bought one, got it set up and now we have wifi while on the road Stayed in Wapakaneta KOA. Arrived around ...
Today we embark on a new journey stretching over 5200 miles and 20 states in 16 days/15 nights. We've prepared for this moment: endless online research, highlighting maps (we won't be using a GPS.. yes by choice!), creating playlists and cd's, contacting friends to meet up with along the way, finding a puppy sitter for Charles (thanks again, Mamie & Papaw!), reserving hotels (all free thanks to Kyle's Choice Hotel points!), looking up weather at all of our ...

Nathan has people wrapped around ...
... with him too. So much fun. :)
After parting ways with our sponsor in St. Paris, we did the two hour jump to Centerburg (the geographical center of Ohio!). We stopped by a Flying J to fill up on LP gas, dump, and refill our fresh water and then 20 minutes later, we were pulling into the Centerburg Church of Christ, which had graciously offered us a free place to park, along with electrical hook-up and access to their wi-fi. Yay!!
