... to Marymere Falls, what we loved so much here was the remoteness
it was literally like walking in to a film site. We must have said ‘wow’ a
million times. The walk along the river to the fall was awesome. Then we drove
to Sol Duc Hot Springs down a road with no other cars for about 30 minutes,

We also did the Space Needle observation deck, Museum of Flight and also went outlet shopping. The outlet shopping was great, the clothes are so much cheaper than in Canada. Seattle would be a fantastic place to live if it wasn't for the weirdos, long story but Tom and I almost got picked up ...
... and art. When I booked my trip to Italy I wanted to find them, but I didn't know their info. But the thought was enough because the next day I randomly saw them walking down the street. And it turned out they were going to be in Florence at the same time. So we met up there. A couple of months later during a chat I found out they were in need of a house sitter on the very day I needed a place to stay. Those 60 days ...
... just the ticket (my first!) and shared one covered in chocolate and marshmallow deliciousness. We explored the waterfront piers and the little shops along them, some of which were very odd- think taxidermy, wacky gifts and fudge all in the same store. We arrived at the Ferris wheel we spotted the day before from the Space Needle and posed for the obligatory green screen cheesy photos to be told we needed to "work on our silly." Ouch. ... we were grateful for the chance to see Seattle from different viewpoints from the Alki Trail. We also had the chance to venture in to downtown Seattle to the markets, piers and the infamous space needle. Sorry no pictures from atop of the tower as we were to tight to pay for the admission. Bill and Jeany treated us to plenty of local beer and wine. There are some great little breweries here with extensive beer ...
