... mouth of Delaware Bay from the possibility of Nazi naval attack. Fort Miles and the observation towers were abandoned by the Army in the early 1960s, but there have been some efforts to preserve these structures. Built to only last 20 years, they've been standing for over 60 years now. ....guess they don't build things like they use to!

... find time to perform some maintenance on the RV, removing some items that we find we haven't needed and gathering a few missed items packed in Marks’ attic - like warm hats and gloves!

Now that the summer crowds are dispersing and "Lower Slower Delaware" (LSD) is settling down for the winter, I thought is was time to enjoy a walk down the beach. Especially since we had a great 70-something weather day with a few passing clouds that make for much better pictures :)
