Good morning we hope you are all having a good start to your weekend.

We are up early had a great sleep, off for a walk in this rural reminds me of being on any of our small Islands at the coast, Hornby, etc.

Clouds this morning and a chance of showers so our touring in Annapolis this afternoon might be damp. So many things to learn on our maiden trip...bathing suites 2 max haven't worn one yet :-)...rain jacket a ...

... mine most loved Southern chef... Paula Deen!! Luke and I for some unknown reason are obsessed with this butter loving, Southern drawling, white haired, lipstick lady!!She's awesome. Look up her Fried Cheesecake on YouTube y'all. Anyway we had dinner in Savannah and had a good nights sleep before chilling at the pool for hours in the morning. I made two further stops in northern Delaware at the Delaware Art Museum and Winterthur. The Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington is a rather small collection housed in a nice building in a suburban neighborhood that mostly consists of American art. The most notable features of the collection are over 100 works by Delaware-based illustrator Howard Pyle and works by members of the so-called Pre-Raphaelite school.

You meet your bus at an appointed time at the other side of the “Long Walk” for the trip to the garage, something that gets called “The Carriage House” when it houses antique Rolls-Royces and Aston-Martins. After a short tour there it’s back to the visitors center.

The DuPonts really knew how to live it up on the fortune ...

As we travel up the Eastern Shore, we are starting to notice numerous chicken farms. We also drove past 2 chicken plants, Tyson and Purdue. Today we are traveling to northern Delaware. We past through Ocean City, Maryland just before entering Delaware. We decided not to make any stops in Ocean City but we did spend a few hours at Delaware Seashore State Park.
