To Parana, Argentina in 26 Hours

I left Jacksonville bound for Houston and Buenos Aires by plane, and eventually to Parana, by bus. From wheels up in Jville to a warm embrace from Maxi (my Argentine exchange brother from high school) it was a total of 26 hours and over 5,000 miles. It was a long but smooth trip and it was worth every minute of it to catch up with him and his family Luli and Franco. (he's a 3 year old tazmanian devil but mostly human Maxi assures me) ...

Yes say that name out loud, it’s so fun! Okefenoke is a park that is mostly wetland, marshes, and swamps. Several of the folks from Alamacontee Campground {allan & Nannette, Ed & Cindy and Gus & Marilynn} and Larry was right down the road at white shell also. Spent a lot of time fishing off of Ed ...

... she is like nothing I have ever met before. I am blessed to have found this group, they have adopted me into their loving circle for a couple of years now, ever since I walked into the Ronnie's in Green Cove Springs. Everyone of the "regulars" is loving, warm, and kind with individual talents of their own! It's like nothing I've ever experienced before. I truly think the most important thing in our lives is to make relationships with other people in our short time on ...

... It was the St Patrick's Day parade in town though so the tour started a little later and I got to see the aftermath of wannabe Irish/Scottish Americans walking around in their kilts and playing their bagpipes. It was good fun though and there was a quite jolly atmosphere in town. It also happens to be bike week here so there were a lot of bikers riding through and stopping off on their way South to Daytona which was fun to see. I did one lap of the city on ...
