... I flew from Perth to Florida at the end of April, and my lab work officially started last week, ironically on the day of my 40th birthday. What a way to celebrate!

I'm drowning in hippo dung, but things are going well so far. Lots of exciting information will be forth-coming soon! And I am sure I will have time to have an adventure or two while I am here, so there may also be some more fun travel blogs in the future. But ...

... As we wrapped up class - the students gave us a standing ovation - so we patted ourselves on the back. It is clear that "when we put our hands on it, magic happens!" ... with one thing on our mind...when is dinner? Well, that is what I was thinking about.  I have no interest in getting in the minds of this group...I think that might really mess you up and force decades of counseling. Katie quickly alerted us to a couple ...

... she is like nothing I have ever met before. I am blessed to have found this group, they have adopted me into their loving circle for a couple of years now, ever since I walked into the Ronnie's in Green Cove Springs. Everyone of the "regulars" is loving, warm, and kind with individual talents of their own! It's like nothing I've ever experienced before. I truly think the most important thing in our lives is to make relationships with other people in our short time on ...

    A weekend of adventure

... Saturday. On Friday night we went to the pub quiz again to spend our $30 prize from Tuesday. We originally came 5th but after another team challenged the answer to the final question, there was a dramatic recount and we came 3rd winning another $20 to spend on Tuesday (where we stormed back from getting 9/28 in the first round to coming 3rd and winning another $20- we're doing very well out of these quizzes!). Saturday saw me taking to the open highways (mostly ...
