    ... had got back to the campsite it was raining with high winds again. 15mins later we decided to rotate the tent by 90 degrees so that the wind would blow against the guyed side of the tent rather than the door side. This was much better and had the good side effect of stopping the wind for the rest of the day. Dinner was chilli con carne stew with a can of sliced mushrooms.     ... the afternoon was fine and we sat and read in their "beach area" (even campsites must have beaches nowadays, apparently). For dinner we went to the Imbiss next to the restaurant and had currywurst and chips, and 2 balls of Movenpick icecream in a waffle cone - what luxury!
    Just as we settled for bed at 9pm it started spitting with rain and there were showers all night.
