      ... single carriageway roads. Finally, we got to Colditz! I reckon we lost an hour with all the satnav problems, but that still gave us time for a reasonable visit to the Schloss Colditz. Grandpa was very pleased we managed to squeeze this visit in.

      Colditz Castle was rather understated really, a reasonable musuem but not a lot of detail and it could have been brought to life a bit more.

      ... a woman from Germany and there were presently some marital issues and he was here attempting to resolve those issues and visit his children. It was only after I got home and did a bit of searching that I discovered he was the conductor of the orchestra and has also had quite a few positions in Germany.
