      ... interested in how much we would be able to see due to the snow. We were not disappointed! We saw just about ever animal they had, and the crowds were very light. From tigers playing in the snow to orangutan battles to baby monkeys swinging on ropes. It was a great zoo and it's park-like setting was made even more beautiful and serene by the recent snow.       Trains from 9am-5pm to get to the other side of Germany. Loooong trip via Frankfurt and Cologne, but it was very interesting to see the countryside. It was Beautiful through the Rhine Valley.       ... has suggested we visit enroute. Bamberg is one of them and is supposed to be one of the most attractive towns in Germany..we'll see!

      Today we travelled through a lot of rural Germany. The question we kept asking was 'where are all the people?' Even around the hotel in this residential area, nobody was outside, no people walking along the pavements..really strange..as if The Dawn of the Planet of the Apes had happened!

      ... topped by the red star, and the outdoor beach volleyball court. I decided, however, that there must be another set of tracks for the library. So I walked back there and sure enough on the other side of the building were the tracks for the tram that I needed. After my slight faux pas l looked closely at the sign to make sure the correct direction.
