After a bathroom break, Joanne and I started our walk down a path to the Dunes/beach. Once at the beach, I started to notice the Stable Flies. At first, there were just a couple (more of a bother) but pretty soon there were tons of them swarming around our bodies - biting away. Joanne's foot was really bothering her today. At first, she was just going to wait for me while I walked along the boardwalk but then I found out that the park offered the use of their wheel chairs. I borrowed one to push her around the boardwalk but unfortunately the tires were not the greatest so I had to give up on that idea. Joanne decided to wait for me under a tree while I walked along the marsh.

... at a lookout to take some pictures. This was one of the first times I used my new camera so it was a learning process for me. I really like it though. Joanne was able to use my previous camera and I have used some of her photos in this blog.
After our little stop, we continued on with our journey.
Our next stop was the Marshland Boardwalk.
Unfortunately, it has been cloudy all day.
We did take a drive around the area though. We took some pictures of the many Greenhouses in this area. It's amazing how many there are.
As we drove from one town to another, we saw many vegetable/fruit stands along the roads. From tomatoes, cukes, peaches, melons, ...
The drive from Brockville to Leamington took us approximately 8 hours (which included rests to eat, refuel the car and bathroom breaks).
